Collapse is an Android game provided by Techlebi. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the game and the choices available to you. For privacy questions or requests, contact techlebiapp@gmail.com.
1. Information we process
Offline game data
Game settings, local progress, Daily Challenge history, streaks, personal records, and temporary leaderboard caches are stored on your device. The Daily Challenge is generated from the calendar date and does not require a server, device identifier, or internet connection.
Optional leaderboard data
Collapse does not require an email address or password. When you join the leaderboards, Firebase Authentication creates an anonymous player identifier. We then process:
- your anonymous player identifier;
- your chosen nickname and short nickname code;
- Survival and Time Race scores and their leaderboard periods;
- rank and score-update information;
- account creation and nickname-change timestamps; and
- short-lived request information used for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.
Your nickname, nickname code, leaderboard rank, and submitted score are visible to other players. Avoid using your real name or other personal information unless you intentionally want it to be public.
2. Firebase and Google services
Collapse uses the following Google Firebase services:
- Firebase Authentication for anonymous leaderboard identity;
- Cloud Firestore and Cloud Functions for profiles, scores, leaderboards, exports, and deletion requests;
- Firebase App Check with Play Integrity to help protect online features from automated, modified, or abusive clients;
- Firebase Analytics to understand aggregated feature usage and improve the game; and
- Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes and reliability problems.
Depending on the service, Google may process technical information such as app-instance identifiers, IP address, approximate network location, device model, operating-system version, app version, crash logs, stack traces, and diagnostic data under Google's own terms and privacy documentation.
Our analytics and reliability events are designed to avoid nicknames, Firebase user IDs, puzzle answers, and callable request payloads.
3. Why we process this information
- to operate optional public leaderboards and preserve submitted scores;
- to let you manage your nickname and leaderboard data;
- to detect spam, fabricated scores, cheating, and service abuse;
- to monitor reliability, diagnose crashes, and recover queued score submissions; and
- to understand aggregated game usage and improve the experience.
4. Legal bases
Where the European Economic Area or United Kingdom data-protection rules apply, processing necessary to provide requested leaderboard features is based on performance of the service you request. Security, abuse prevention, reliability, and product improvement are based on our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights. Where consent is legally required, we will request it.
5. Retention
- Daily leaderboard entries are scheduled for deletion after 45 days.
- Weekly leaderboard entries are scheduled for deletion after 183 days.
- Monthly leaderboard entries are scheduled for deletion after 730 days.
- Player profiles remain until the anonymous account is deleted.
- Security and rate-limit records are retained only as needed for operational protection.
- Analytics and Crashlytics information follows the retention settings configured in Firebase and Google Analytics.
Deletion may take additional time to propagate through backups, security logs, and infrastructure operated by our service providers.
6. Your controls and rights
The Data & Privacy screen inside Collapse lets you:
- change your public nickname, subject to the displayed cooldown;
- reset local game progress and settings;
- export your profile and indexed leaderboard data; and
- permanently delete your anonymous account, profile, and indexed leaderboard entries.
Resetting local progress does not delete cloud leaderboard data. Use the separate account-and-cloud-data deletion action for that purpose.
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and the right to complain to a data-protection authority. Contact us to make a request. We may need information sufficient to locate and verify the relevant anonymous profile.
7. Sharing and international processing
We use Google as a service provider for Firebase infrastructure. Information may be processed in countries other than your own under safeguards used by Google. We do not sell personal information and Collapse currently contains no third-party advertising SDK.
8. Children
Collapse is not specifically directed to children. Players should not include personal information in public nicknames. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us.
9. Security
We use anonymous authenticated access, Firebase security rules, App Check, server-side validation, submission deduplication, and rate limiting. No storage or transmission system can guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the game, service providers, or legal requirements change. We will revise the effective date when material changes are published.
